From 19.03.2026 to 24.04.2026, Galerie Gleis4 in Zug showed works by Mason Storm under the title “Baroque Bloodlines”. It was the artist’s first exhibition in the German-speaking region.

On view were oil paintings and sculptural objects that take up canonical baroque and religious imagery and translate it into the present. Points of reference include works by William-Adolphe Bouguereau and Caravaggio, among them The Flagellation of Christ, The Taking of Christ and Supper at Emmaus. Storm shifts these compositions: saints wear tattoos and present-day clothing, credit cards and fast-food packaging take the place of historical attributes.

What emerges is a dialogue between historical religious imagery and contemporary consumer culture. Mason Storm works deliberately anonymously.
