From 26.09.2024 to 25.10.2024, Galerie Gleis4 in Zug showed works by Rudi Benétik under the title “träumende Schmetterlinge”. It was a solo exhibition; the artist was present at the opening on 26 September 2024 from 4 p.m.
Rudi Benétik was born in 1960 in Jaunstein/Podjuna in southern Carinthia. From 1981 to 1985 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, and attended the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg several times, including sculpture with Markus Lüpertz in 1983. He lives and works in Jaunstein and in Madruzzo in northern Italy.
By 2024 Benétik had held more than 70 international solo exhibitions and more than 60 group exhibitions; his works are represented in 33 collections from the USA to South Korea.
